Operations Manager - Technical

Job Description

Role Overview:As an Operations Manager Technical, your primary responsibility will be to manage technical operations across assigned sites. You will ensure uninterrupted services, oversee manpower recruitment, ensure statutory compliance, adhere to SLAs, control costs, and maintain client satisfaction. Your role will involve leading engineering teams, coordinating with clients and vendors, and continuously improving operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day technical operations including HVAC, Electrical & DG to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical equipment and utilities across all assigned sites.- Implement preventive maintenance schedules, monitor breakdown management, and reduce reactive breakdowns through structured preventive maintenance.- Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs, KPIs, and scope of services, track performance metrics, and initiate corrective actions for deviations.- Act as the primary technical interface with clients for operational matters, attend review meetings, audits, and inspections, and address escalations, complaints, and service gaps promptly and effectively.- Lead, mentor, and manage Facility Managers, Technical Managers, Supervisors, and technicians. Ensure adequate staffing, skill development, and training of technical teams.- Ensure preparation and execution of PM plans, shutdown schedules, and annual maintenance plans. Conduct timely root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent corrective measures.- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and OEM guidelines, drive implementation of EHS practices, and support ISO audits and statutory inspections.- Prepare and control technical OPEX budget, and present monthly operational and performance reports to clients and management.Qualification Required:- Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field is required.- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical engineering and HVAC is required.(Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
