Job Description

You are a highly experienced AI Engineering Leader with 14 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Your role involves leading enterprise-scale AI initiatives and possessing deep technical expertise in AI/ML algorithms, along with hands-on experience in delivering AI products end-to-end. You are also expected to have proven leadership capabilities to manage large cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:- Defining and driving the organizations AI/ML roadmap aligned with business objectives.- Leading multiple AI and machine learning initiatives from ideation to production deployment.- Building scalable AI platforms, reusable ML frameworks, and enterprise AI capabilities.- Mentoring and leading a team of 20-25 data scientists, ML engineers, and AI practitioners.- Establishing AI engineering best practices, governance standards, and model lifecycle management processes.- Collaborating with senior leadership to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.- Designing and architecting scalable AI/ML solutions for enterprise-grade applications.- Leading the development of predictive models, recommendation systems, NLP solutions, computer vision applications, and generative AI use cases.- Ensuring production readiness of AI solutions, including scalability, monitoring, explainability, and performance optimization.- Driving MLOps adoption, including CI/CD pipelines, model deployment automation, and monitoring frameworks.- Evaluating emerging AI technologies and recommending innovative approaches to improve business performance.- Applying advanced statistical, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to solve complex business problems.- Developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms using Python and associated AI/ML frameworks.- Working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights.- Overseeing feature engineering, model validation, hyperparameter tuning, and model interpretability processes.- Ensuring model governance, fairness, and compliance with enterprise security standards.- Partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology leadership to define AI use cases and delivery priorities.- Translating business requirements into scalable technical AI solutions.- Driving Agile delivery methodologies and managing AI project execution timelines.- Presenting AI strategies, insights, and technical recommendations to executive leadership.- Managing vendor relationships, external partners, and research collaborations where required.- Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.- Encouraging an innovation culture within the team through experimentation and research initiatives.- Contributing to whitepapers, patents, research publications, or AI thought leadership initiatives.- Evaluating and implementing cutting-edge AI frameworks, tools, and cloud-native AI services.Your required skills & qualifications include:- 14 years of experience in Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning.- Strong expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.- Deep understanding of AI product development lifecycle and MLOps practices.- Hands-on experience in Python and AI/ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Pandas, and NumPy.- Experience with NLP, Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI solutions.- Strong knowledge of model deployment, API integration, and scalable AI architectures.- Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks is an advantage.Your cloud & platform skills should include experience with at least one cloud platform, with a preference for AWS AI/ML ecosystem, including SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Redshift, Glue, and S3. Knowledge of Azure or GCP AI services is a plus. Additionally, you should have:- Proven experience managing large AI/ML teams (20-25 members).- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.- Experience leading enterprise-scale AI transformation programs.- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.- Ability to manage multiple concurrent AI initiatives in a fast-paced environment.- Experience with Agile methodologies and program management practices.- Research publications or authored papers in AI/ML domains.- Exposure to Responsible AI, Explainable AI, and AI Governance frameworks.- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Risk Analytics, Fraud Detection, or Customer Analytics.
