As a Software Engineer at CGI, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Angular. Your key responsibilities will include:- Designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.- Building responsive and user-friendly UI components across multiple devices and browsers.- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving UI and performance issues.- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing application performance.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.- Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in development processes.To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:Must-Have Skills:- 5-6 years of experience in web application development.- Strong expertise in Angular/AngularJS and modern JavaScript.- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile).- Experience in developing and integrating complex user interfaces.- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.- Ability to work across multiple web platforms and environments.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good-to-Have Skills:- Frontend: Angular, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3- Backend/API: RESTful services integration- Cloud (AWS): S3, Lambda, IAM (Role & Policy Management), Step Functions, EventBridgeAt CGI, you can expect a work environment rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging.
