Job Description

    You will be part of the audit and assurance team at PwC, where your main focus will be providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information. Your role involves evaluating compliance with regulations, assessing governance and risk management processes, and related controls. Specifically, in financial statement audit, you will work towards ensuring the financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue an auditors report that includes the auditors opinion.**Key Responsibilities**:- Engage in financial and managerial accounting activities- Contribute to assurance and systems projects- Enhance skills and knowledge for quality work delivery- Establish meaningful client relationships- Aid in managing and motivating team members- Broaden technical knowledge in firm services and technology- Support client engagement and project tasks**Qualifications Required**:- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Chartered Accountant- Oral and written proficiency in English required- 1 year of audit busy season completedPwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) offer a unique opportunity where you will actively support various services such as Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services. As an Associate, your role will involve learning, contributing to client engagement and projects, developing your skills, and enhancing your knowledge to deliver quality work. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand.In order to excel in this role, you should demonstrate knowledge in financial accounting and managerial accounting, research and analyze client, industry, and technical matters, utilize problem-solving skills effectively, interact with various levels of leadership, be self-motivated and responsible for personal growth, take ownership of personal development, and manage multiple tasks effectively. While a credential is not required to be hired at this level, it will be necessary to progress to Manager.
