Job Description

    As a Benefits Operations Manager, you will be responsible for owning and managing the overall operational performance for assigned clients. Your key expectations will include meeting or exceeding contractual performance standards and SLAs, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of work to plan sponsors and participants, driving operational efficiency through process improvements, and building strong client relationships. Additionally, you will lead, coach, and develop team members to build a high-performing operations team.Key Responsibilities:- Manage assigned benefits administration deliverables within defined SLAs (internal and external)- Act as the client SME for complex, client-specific requirements, processes, and interpretations- Proactively identify operational risks and potential client-facing issues and drive timely resolution- Own and maintain SOPs for delivery processes- Work with internal teams and clients to implement requirements for one-time and ongoing projects with operational impact- Maintain regular communication with delivery team colleagues and external clients to share operational insights, project progress, risks, and mitigation plansRequired Skills:- Strong domain expertise in the US Pension / 401k Benefits Administration- Proven ability to manage SLAs, operational metrics, and client performance measures- Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills- Ability to lead teams, manage workloads, and drive capability building- Analytical and critical thinking skills- Accountability and ownershipQualifications:- Graduate- Minimum 5 years of experience in US Pension / 401k Benefits Administration- Prior experience with Alight / Wipro (Alight account) is an added advantageIn this role, you will be accountable for managing operational performance, ensuring contractual standards are met, and delivering high-quality work to clients and participants. Your responsibilities will include client and operations ownership, escalation and issue management, SOPs and governance, project coordination, and stakeholder communication. Your expertise in benefits administration and strong leadership skills will contribute to the success of the operations team.
