Compliance Monitoring Manager (Aviation)

Job Description

As a Compliance Monitoring Manager at the organization, your role involves ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements (CAR 145) and internal standards. You will oversee contracted maintenance, implement audit programs, and drive continuous improvement in compliance processes to maintain safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the departments performance in alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.- Lead and recommend options to ensure consistent and fit-for-purpose services that meet external and internal requirements.- Maintain AISATS data archives and oversee compliance of maintenance contracted to external organizations.- Implement process/certification projects for continual improvement and industry best practices.- Ensure effective document and record controls, oversee compliance audits, and identify non-compliance issues for corrective actions.- Analyze maintenance effectiveness data for continuous improvement and safeguard data archives integrity and security.- Support senior management in internal audit functions and review audit reports for corrective action proposals.- Develop programs for compliance implementation and translate requirements into functional specifications.- Perform any other functions required by the Accountable Manager and ensure overall compliance of operations.Educational Qualifications:- Relevant engineering or technical degree (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Avionics) OR Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification with additional education acceptable to DGCA.Relevant Experience:- Minimum 08 to 10 years of work experience with at least 7 years in the aeronautical industry and experience in managing compliance programs effectively.- Strong understanding of human factors principles, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and compliance monitoring processes.Personal Characteristics & Behaviours:- Investigative, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.- Strong leadership qualities, good team player, and ability to mentor a dynamic team.- Effective communication skills, logical thinking, and ability to relate to employees at all levels.- Responsible, accountable, and committed to ensuring overall compliance of maintenance activities.
