Consultant - Android Developer

Job Description

As a Consultant Mobile Developer at the company, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade Android applications. Your main focus will be on building robust, scalable, and secure mobile solutions that integrate with IoT and medical devices. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product excellence and drive innovation in mobile development.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade Android applications with a focus on high performance, reliability, and security.- Architect modular, maintainable codebases using industry-standard patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.- Design intuitive, accessible, and consistent UI/UX following Material Design guidelines and design systems.- Integrate mobile apps with IoT and medical devices via Bluetooth (BLE) and Wi-Fi, ensuring secure pairing, data transfer, and compliance.- Develop and maintain secure data flows, offline-first capabilities, and resilient synchronization with cloud services and APIs.- Own deployment strategies, app distribution via Google Play and enterprise channels, and ensure cloud-native integration with robust observability.- Champion enterprise security best practices, drive performance tuning, and memory profiling to ensure optimal app performance.- Establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, code quality gates, and testing strategies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and set technical standards.- Author and maintain technical documentation, SDKs, and reusable components.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or related fields.- 8-15 years of experience developing Android applications at an enterprise scale.- Strong object-oriented Java experience, hands-on experience with Android application development, and familiarity with iOS SDK.Additional Details:The company values strong verbal and written communication skills, technical expertise in Kotlin and Java, proficiency in additional mobile languages/frameworks, deep knowledge of Android frameworks, and experience with modern development practices.
