Job Description

As a Data Scientist at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in transforming information into intelligence, inspiring advancements in learning, communication, and industrial automation. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:- Demonstrating broad knowledge and experience in software development, UI/UX design, and web technologies.- Utilizing various frameworks and processes such as Agile for efficient project management.- Extracting and analyzing terabytes and petabytes of diverse datasets using SQL and other query languages.- Employing data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques for effective analysis.- Understanding Big Data Engineering/processing, Business Intelligence, and Advanced analytics.- Building Cloud-based data engineering and Machine Learning Model.- Developing APIs for seamless application integration.- Applying statistical modeling, feature extraction, supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning techniques.- Validating data and conducting data analysis with expertise.- Demonstrating proficiency in Angular, Javascript, CSS, Python, and/or R.- Leveraging Data Science, Machine learning, and advanced analytical methods for insightful results.- Working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and adapting to new technologies quickly.Regarding qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess:- Expertise in Angular, Javascript, CSS, Python, and/or R.- Knowledge in Data Science, Machine learning, and other advanced analytical methods.- Programming fluency in Python and/or R.- Experience with time series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and data with frequently changing distributions.- Optional: Knowledge in Hadoop stack (Hive, HDFS, HBase, and Spark).- Optional: Understanding of pySpark and/or SparkR and/or SparklyR.- Optional: Knowledge in Tensorflow and other statistical software.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Micron Technology, Inc. is a global leader in memory and storage solutions, driving innovations that enrich lives and empower technological advancements.
