This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging technical problems within a dynamic global team of 700 professionals comprising engineers, developers, consultants, solution architects, and project managers who are at the forefront of delivering AVEVAs innovative solutions.Your responsibilities will include:- Leading data exploration, data quality assessment, and data pattern identification- Coordinating with data engineering teams to ensure reliable datasets support your initiatives- Designing and developing feature engineering pipelines- Selecting appropriate ML approaches from baseline to advanced solutions- Building, training, and optimizing models using Python, Databricks, Azure services, or other relevant tools- Developing validation strategies, defining meaningful metrics, and ensuring model explainability- Identifying new AI opportunities, contributing to roadmap planning, and promoting data-driven decision-making across the organizationTo excel in this role, you will need:- 812 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning- Strong expertise in Python and a solid foundation in statistics, probability, and mathematics- Experience with supervised learning, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, NLP, or deep learning- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and tools like Databricks- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to technical and business stakeholders- Experience in industries like Oil & Gas, Utilities, Water, Data Centers, or CPG is valuable- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional influence abilitiesThis is a full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement, where employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week.
