Job Description

    As an experienced professional with a minimum of 8 years in leading accounting functions for multinational organizations, you will be responsible for various key tasks related to the Workday Financial Management implementation. Your role will involve:- Leading and scaling the transition of R2R, S2P, and L2C tasks and processes from global markets to the GCC, ensuring compliance with global standards and corporate policies.- Overseeing the end-to-end record to report (R2R) function within the GCC in relation to Workday, while managing IFRS corporate accounting activities and financial submissions into Tagetik for global consolidation.- Acting as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for the Workday Financials implementation from the GCC perspective, partnering with local markets for successful implementation and transition of tasks and processes.- Standardizing, optimizing, and documenting R2R, S2P, and L2C processes to align with the new Workday environment and ensure maximum efficiency.- Collaborating with global finance leaders, IT, and external partners to meet business requirements during the Workday rollout.Your role will also require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to learn, build teams, and adapt to a fast-changing environment. You will be expected to develop, execute, and monitor project plans effectively, generate innovative ideas, and demonstrate a broad approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Qualifications Required:- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in leading accounting functions for multinational organizations.- Prior experience in leading an ERP/Workday Implementation as a Finance & Accounting SME/Project Manager/Consultant.- Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management, preferably with involvement in an implementation or major upgrade.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated aptitude for team building and learning.(Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.)
