Job Description

    As an RSM Independence Associate 2 at RSM, you will be responsible for supporting the Office of Risk Management in managing risk related to independence requirements of regulatory bodies. Your role will involve processing updates to RSM InTrust, the firms independence system of record, based on relevant auditor independence rules. Additionally, you will assist in creating training materials, job aides, and resources to support day-to-day activities during off-peak periods.Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance of the RSM InTrust relationships and data, including system edits- Assisting in coaching Ops team members and stakeholders on independence affiliate rules- Developing and providing job aides, training materials, and resources for team members- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the local officeQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Accounting (preferred) or other business degree- Understanding of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures- Awareness of independence rulesets such as SEC, PCAOB, and AICPA- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office products- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to diverse audiences- Experience in public accounting and reporting to a US-based teamAt RSM, you will have the opportunity to excel in a highly standardized environment, contribute to team morale, and take ownership of tasks.
