Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be joining the National Office of Risk Management (NORM) at RSM, where you will support the implementation of programs, policies, and practices to manage RSM US risk. As the RSM InTrust Operations (Ops) Team Senior 2, you will report to the Manager 1 and assist in managing risk to the firm regarding independence requirements of regulatory bodies. Your role will involve managing the intake and analysis of relevant submissions, conducting review processes, and hosting phone and video calls with engagement teams to clarify updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating training materials and resources during off-peak periods. Your expertise in independence affiliate rules will be utilized to coach stakeholders effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain relationships and data in RSM InTrust, the Firms independence system of record- Coach Client Engagement teams and other stakeholders on independence affiliate rules- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them- Monitor workload and ensure timely completion of assignmentsQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Accounting (preferred) or other business degree- Comprehension of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures- Facilitation of coaching on complex regulatory matters- Awareness of independence rulesets including SEC, PCAOB, and AICPA- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including familiarity with SharePoint- Conflict resolution skills development- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion- Experience in public accounting, with exposure to independence considerations- Familiarity with an accounting firms entity management system, preferably at a Big Four accounting firmAdditional Company Details:At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our employees.
