Job Description

As a technical solutions architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting technical solutions to address business problems. You will provide technical leadership to your teammates by offering coaching and mentorship. Collaboration with software developers, business analysts, and software architects will be essential as you plan, design, develop, test, and maintain various solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Implement new features and modifications to meet business requirements.- Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).- Develop code within Bottomline core technology and architecture, adhering to specifications and standards.- Ensure adherence to release cycles and meet deadlines consistently.- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for defect resolution.- Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements, developing user stories, estimates, and work plans.- Create reports, manuals, and other documentation to communicate the status, operation, and maintenance of software.Qualifications Required:- Expertise in all phases of SDLC, with a preference for Agile methodology.- Strong coding skills in Java, J2EE, SQL, and JavaScript.- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, Springboot, and Docker.- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins/GitLab, ArgoCD.- Experience in REST API design and implementation.- Familiarity with Postgresql/Oracle databases.- Solid experience in developing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers for Oracle databases.- Understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, multi-tier architecture, and Services Oriented Architecture.- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to navigate complex situations and take responsibility.- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.Additional Company Details:N/APreferred Skills:- Quick learning and mastery of internal frameworks.- Deep understanding of writing complex unit tests.- Experience with XML and generating Java data binding code from XSDs.- Proficiency in Agile methodology.- Experience in developing complex financial applications.Experience and Education:- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Java developer.- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
