Job Description

    As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proactively managing, protecting, and growing a portfolio of accounts by adopting a strategic sales approach. This role involves a combination of outbound selling, structured account management, and CRM-driven pipeline development to drive sales, prevent customer attrition, and capture new opportunities. Your role will include managing both long-term accounts and transactional sales independently, taking full ownership of sales transactions from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:- Own a defined book of accounts, execute a monthly Territory & Account Plan, and manage the full inside sales cycle including discovery, quoting, negotiation, and order conversion.- Proactively engage assigned customers through various channels to identify needs, create cross-sell/up-sell opportunities, and develop account protection plans to retain business.- Qualify inbound leads and originate outbound prospecting to generate new accounts and expand existing relationships using various technologies.- Monitor account health and proactively address at-risk customers with corrective actions, while collaborating with functional partners to ensure a seamless customer experience.- Conduct regular account touchpoints, record all activities in CRM, and leverage data insights to personalize outreach and improve conversion rates.- Maintain an up-to-date CRM for accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility, participating in sales campaigns and promotions tailored for defined business segments.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree (BSc/BE), preferably in engineering or a related field.- 2 years of inside sales or account management experience in a B2B environment.- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and protecting/growing an installed base.- Proficiency with CRM/Analytical Systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, PowerBI) and sales engagement tools.- Strong communication skills across various channels and the ability to build rapport remotely.- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts concurrently.- Analytical mindset, utilizing data to prioritize outreach, detect risks, and measure progress.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in the companys industry or with similar product lines.- Experience negotiating pricing and commercial terms for small business accounts.- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and process automation (sequences, templates, playbooks).(Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description) As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proactively managing, protecting, and growing a portfolio of accounts by adopting a strategic sales approach.
