Investment Accounting Specialist

Job Description

Role Overview:You will be working as a Fund Accounting Analyst at ADP Ventures in Hyderabad. Your main responsibility will be to support fund accounting and financial operations for the venture investments portfolio. This role is suitable for early-career professionals with experience in fund accounting or fund administration who are looking to advance their career in a global investment and finance setting. You will collaborate with internal finance teams, external administrators, and portfolio company stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely delivery of fund-level financial information.Key Responsibilities:- Support monthly and quarterly fund accounting processes, such as NAV support, cash and position reconciliations, and expense accruals.- Assist in the calculation and review of management fees, performance fees, and capital activity.- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for fund financial statements and internal reporting.- Conduct variance analysis and investigate differences across reporting periods.- Maintain and follow fund accounting controls, checklists, and documented procedures.- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and standardization across portfolio reporting.- Coordinate with portfolio company finance teams and external service providers to collect and validate financial data.- Work with fund accounting systems and Excel-based models to manage and analyze financial data.- Support preparation of summaries, dashboards, or management reporting materials.Qualifications Required:- 35 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or financial operations, preferably from global fund administrators or ODD groups.- Exposure to alternative investments like venture capital, private equity, or hedge funds.- Working knowledge of fund accounting processes, NAV support, reconciliations, fund expense and fee calculations.- Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.Additional Company Details (if available):ADP Ventures partners with innovative technology companies to shape the future of work.
