Job Description

As an Investment Fund Analyst at Fidelity International, your role will involve working closely with the Investment Directing teams in overseas offices to support Investment Directors in generating baseline investment communication material for Fidelity funds. This will include market reviews, fund analysis/performance, and strategy commentaries for client reports, as well as fund presentation updates aimed at asset gathering and retention, which are vital for the successful functioning of each product franchise.Key Responsibilities:- Updating and producing sales materials such as standard product presentations to enable distribution teams to provide clients and prospects with an informed view of the investment process, fund performance, and positioning.- Producing market reviews and investment outlook pieces, requiring detailed knowledge of each managers investment process, recent performance, and portfolio positioning.- Presenting data in an understandable format for sales teams.- Ensuring timely production of all standard product content for Fidelity products to meet quality standards.- Addressing ad hoc data-related queries on funds.Qualifications and Experience:- Masters Degree in economics/business/finance.- CFA qualification would be advantageous.- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in security analysis or investment/research-related roles.- Good writing skills with attention to detail.- Competent at analyzing fund-related data.- Familiarity with databases like DataStream and Bloomberg.- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA.- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to understanding the business environment to drive improvements.
