Junior Project Manager

Job Description

As a Project Manager at Yum! Brands, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the data engineering team to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment of project objectives with overall business goals. Your role will involve facilitating effective communication between data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, organizing and leading regular project meetings to provide updates on project status, milestones, and upcoming tasks. Furthermore, you will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. Identifying potential risks and challenges in project execution and proactively implementing mitigation strategies will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Monitoring project progress, addressing issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and collaborating with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
