Job Description

    Role Overview:You will report to the Chief Counsel, Asia and will be a highly self-motivated leader responsible for the full spectrum of Legal & Compliance Operations. Your role will involve enhancing the L&C operating model, ensuring effective delivery of L&C services, and adeptly managing L&C change and project management processes.Key Responsibilities:- **Operations Leadership and Strategy:** Develop and execute the Asia regional L&C operations strategy considering Aons global corporate objectives.- **Process Optimization:** Monitor and optimize L&C processes to increase efficiency and drive continuous improvement.- **Reporting:** Establish robust data and management information reporting to communicate effectively on Legal and Compliance-related team initiatives.- **Budget and Resource Management:** Assist in preparing and managing the L&C team budget for the Asia region, ensure efficient resource allocation, and assist in recruitment and onboarding processes.- **Team Development and Training:** Lead training initiatives to enhance the teams knowledge and capabilities, fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability.- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align L&C operations with broader business objectives and work seamlessly with global L&C operations teams.- **Project Management:** Support the L&C team in managing projects, including regulatory projects, contract template refresh projects, training initiatives, and technology projects.Qualifications Required:- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations and project management, preferably in leading Legal & Compliance Operations within a multinational environment.- Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple jurisdictions.- Ability to liaise with L&C officers across APAC, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high-performing teams.- Technical project management skills and relevant training/certifications in Legal & Compliance Operations or Risk Management.- Proficiency in L&C technology solutions, budget management, and vendor relationship management.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, and align L&C operations with broader business objectives.The company provides a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and opportunities for growth within a worldwide organization.
