Logistics Head - FMCG

Job Description

As a Logistics Head in the FMCG industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain and logistics strategy, execution, and optimization. Your experience in high-volume FMCG and e-commerce environments will be crucial in this role.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and execute logistics and distribution strategies for traditional, modern, and e-commerce channels.- Oversee and optimize warehousing, inventory, and transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.- Manage last-mile delivery operations with a focus on minimizing delivery times and costs for quick commerce models.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with business needs.- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, 3PL, and delivery partners.- Implement and manage logistics for online platforms, emphasizing order fulfillment, returns, and rapid delivery.- Analyze data to identify and resolve bottlenecks, driving continuous process improvement through automation and digital tools.- Lead the logistics department, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture.- Monitor KPIs such as delivery lead time and order accuracy and report performance to senior management.**Qualifications Required:**- 7 to 10 years of logistics and supply chain experience with exposure to multi-regional operations.- Experience in high-volume FMCG and e-commerce/quick commerce environments.- MBA/PGDM/Bachelors or Masters degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (Full Time, Regular Mandatory).- In-depth knowledge of logistics platforms and industry best practices.- Hands-on experience with SAP and bidding portals.- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.- Agility to thrive in a dynamic, high-speed market environment.- Proven success in optimizing last-mile delivery and multi-channel inventory management.If you are a strategic and analytical leader with a passion for optimizing logistics in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
