As an Audit Supervisor at RSM, you will be part of the client engagement teams serving large and small companies across various industries. Your role will involve developing strong working relationships, understanding clients complex businesses, and solving their challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:- Understanding clients needs, business, industry, accounting systems, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues- Developing an understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology, and tools- Performing audit procedures in line with the audit plan and ensuring proper documentation- Identifying areas of risk, accounting issues, and discussing solutions with the team- Researching technical accounting issues and developing industry expertise- Preparing audit reports and management letters- Exercising professional skepticism, judgment, and adhering to the code of ethics- Ensuring documentation complies with quality standards- Providing supervision, training, and development for associates- Taking ownership of tasks, delivering service excellence, and meeting client expectations- Understanding RSM US and RSM Delivery Centers service capabilities and working collaboratively- Participating in projects, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, and timely completion of work- Providing oversight to senior associates and associatesQualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors in commerce/MBA- Qualified Chartered Accountant- 4-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and audit- Strong technical skills in accounting, GAAP, and GAAS- Strong Data Analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills- Excellent verbal and written communication in English- Experience working with international clients and US-based engagement teamsAt RSM, you will be valued as an individual, mentored as a future leader, and recognized for your accomplishments.
