Product Owner - Information Technology

Job Description

As a member of Uniteds Digital Technology team, you will play a crucial role in supervising the product owner team to efficiently define features, epics, and stories into detailed functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the IT product teams have all the necessary details to deliver high-quality products and creating scalable, maintainable, and reusable big data solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Lead initiatives from a product delivery standpoint, facilitating solution alternatives to business problems- Supervise the prioritization and planning efforts for the product owner team across multiple portfolios- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify the business case, scope, product backlog, technical debt, and product delivery roadmap- Create user stories, non-functional requirements, and follow agile best practices- Perform data analysis, workflow analysis, and assess the business impact of changes or enhancements- Supervise tasks related to development/production readiness, product demo, and user acceptance- Mentor junior team members and lead a small team of Product Owners / Business Data AnalystsQualifications Required:- BE, BTECH or equivalent, in computer science or related STEM field- AWS Certifications preferred- 8 years of total IT experience as either a Product Owner/Business Data Analyst or Software Engineer- 5 years of overall Data Engineering experience in AWS or Azure Cloud environments- 3 years of experience with Big Data technologies like PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, HBASE, Kafka, Redshift, Cassandra, etc.- 5 years of experience with relational database systems like MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata- Experience with non-relational database systems like Cassandra, Mongo DB, DynamoDB- Experience with Visualization tools such as Spotfire, OBIEE, BO, Cognos, Quicksight- Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Product Roadmap Creation, Feature Prioritization, Agile / Scrum Based Development- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge in Big Data- Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)- Legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipNo additional details of the company are present in the provided job description.
