Job Description

    As a Business Development Manager for the Industrial market in the North 1 region at Gates Corporation, your role involves driving sales activities and promoting the companys products in your assigned territory. You will play a key role in meeting regional sales financial objectives, establishing sales objectives, maintaining customer relationships, and recommending product lines. Your responsibilities will also include implementing trade promotions, updating job knowledge, and motivating regional executives. Additionally, you will contribute to accomplishing the sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Your specialization in auto components marketing in the aftermarket will be crucial, along with your creativity and innovative skills to generate big ideas.Key Responsibilities:- Forecast sales requirements, prepare annual budgets, and analyze variances- Establish sales objectives and create sales plans- Maintain and expand customer base by building rapport and identifying new opportunities- Recommend product lines and evaluate trade spending- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunitiesQualifications Required:- BE / BTech with Masters preferred- 6 to 12 years of experience in sales management- Strong communication and organizational skills- Willingness to travel- Ability to manage multiple resources and projectsGates Corporation, founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, operates as One Gates with a common goal of pushing the boundaries of materials science.
