SCM Solution Design Engineer

Role Overview:As a Regional SCM Solution Design Engineer at Maersk, you will be crucial in developing innovative and cost-effective logistics solutions. Collaborating with various teams, you will design solutions that cater precisely to customer requirements, ensuring seamless implementation. Your role will demand a blend of supply chain expertise, data analytics proficiency, financial acumen, and strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:- Lead basic supply chain analytics projects to identify opportunities.- Perform detailed analysis to ensure solution compatibility with business processes.- Analyze clients supply chains to discover potential cost-saving opportunities.- Identify and analyze configuration gaps using various MbM technology platforms.- Interpret customer requirements and transform them into compelling solution proposals.- Configure Solution Building Blocks, maximizing the use of existing solutions.- Quantify resource and implementation requirements for solutions.- Collaborate with Product/IT to develop alternative solutions when necessary.- Develop management dashboards displaying profit levels, expenditures, and other metrics.- Review and support customer solutions and implementations.- Act as the custodian of sustainable operational quality for designed solutions.- Project manage solution design process ensuring timely delivery.- Maintain the global pricing database with relevant changes.Qualification Required:- Masters degree from a recognized university, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management.- Minimum 7 years of transportation experience with significant exposure to solution designing and supply chain.- 5 years of experience in analytics, design, or operations of international supply chains.- Project management experience is an advantage.- Strong expertise in data analytics and data mining.- Extensive experience in SCM solution design and implementation.- Proficiency in Profit and Loss (P&L) design and analysis.- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.- Ability to work independently and manage sensitive customers.- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
