Job Description

As an experienced professional in authorization and access management, you will play a crucial role in defining, implementing, and managing the enterprise authorization framework and architecture using PlainID PBAC. Your responsibilities will include:- Designing and configuring fine-grained authorization policies, rules, and entitlements in PlainID.- Integrating PlainID with enterprise directories such as Active Directory, LDAP, and IAM platforms.- Collaborating with business and application teams to translate authorization requirements into dynamic PBAC policies.- Implementing access management policies and enforcing authorization across various applications, APIs, and cloud services.- Configuring and managing PlainID policy decision points (PDPs) and enforcement points (PEPs).- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in PlainID deployments, policy conflicts, and runtime decisions.- Collaborating with development teams to support REST API and JSON-based integrations.- Independently driving technical tasks and providing support during policy implementation phases.- Delivering technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition processes to managed security operations.Your professional and technical skills will be put to the test, including:- Strong knowledge of PBAC, ABAC, and RBAC models.- Hands-on experience with PlainID configuration, policy design, and management.- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and policy-as-code concepts for integration.- Experience integrating PlainID with Active Directory, LDAP, and IAM solutions.- Proficiency in authorization and access management standards such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, XACML.- Solid troubleshooting skills in policy authoring, entitlement conflicts, and runtime decisions.- Development experience with J2EE, Java, or JavaScript for policy integrations.- Ability to independently manage complex technical tasks and projects.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.It is essential that you have relevant experience to excel in this role.
