Job Description

As a Senior AI Engineer joining the FX Trade Advanced Analytics team, your role will involve designing and implementing new analytic and AI-driven application capabilities within the Big Data analytics ecosystem. This includes building production-grade systems that integrate traditional data engineering with modern AI frameworks. Your responsibilities will also include engineering scalable solutions, maintaining rigorous quality standards, contributing to Agile Scrum processes, and interacting directly with product stakeholders when required.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement new analytic and AI-driven application capabilities within the Big Data analytics ecosystem- Build production-grade systems integrating traditional data engineering with modern AI frameworks- Engineer scalable solutions, maintain quality standards, and contribute to Agile Scrum processes- Interact directly with product stakeholders when necessaryQualifications Required:- Solid grasp of Python, including experience in building production systems in cloud environments and working with big data warehouses (preferably Snowflake)- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM engineering, Agentic AI, and building applications using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM orchestration frameworks- Proficiency with Snowflake Cortex, including building or integrating AI/ML pipelines using Cortex functions and services- Integration of LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production systems- 7 years of relevant software engineering experience and 3 years delivering application solutions, preferably using big data technologies- Demonstrated ability to contribute independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team on high-profile projectsAdditional Company Details:London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
