As a Senior Associate for the Office of Risk Management (ORM) Digital team, you will play a key role in the digital transformation journey by implementing advanced software enhancements and integrations. Your responsibilities will include designing and engineering automation solutions to address complex business challenges, benefiting both our firm and external client servers. Collaboration and teamwork are essential at RSM, providing you with the opportunity to work in a respectful team environment that fosters professional growth and career advancement.**Key Responsibilities:**- Leverage your software development experience to implement leading practices and efficient development- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and design solutions with technical requirements documentation- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support to stakeholders- Architect and design applications from user interface, workflows, and data storage and modeling- Perform unit testing and quality assurance to ensure business requirements are met- Other duties as assigned**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience- Efficient problem-solving skills in team or individual settings- Experience with process decomposition and modeling- Exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of coding/application design best practices- Strong customer relationship management skills- Understanding of business and information technology processes**Additional Details:**RSM values leadership skills and expects you to lead junior developer teams in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions. You should be able to anticipate and address application user concerns, break down complex issues into manageable project steps, and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels. You should have a minimum of 4 years of full-time development experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, C, or C#, along with practical experience in integrations development and familiarity with relational databases. Experience with Agile development methodologies, enterprise systems, and low-code platforms is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with web service architectures and participation in Scrum meetings are beneficial.Overall, you will be an essential part of the ORM Digital team, contributing to the digital transformation journey and helping solve complex business challenges through automation solutions.
