Job Description

As a Senior Investment Operations Analyst in the Global Reference Data (GRD) team, you will play a crucial role in managing account and mutual fund setup and maintenance across trading and accounting platforms. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and analyzing reference data for clients, custodians, and brokers. Additionally, you will perform data quality reviews, audits, and control procedures to ensure operational excellence. You will lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, act as an escalation point for complex operational issues, and participate in strategic and regulatory projects. Moreover, you will be involved in training, mentoring, and supporting junior analysts.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage account and mutual fund setup and maintenance across trading and accounting platforms- Maintain and analyze reference data for clients, custodians, and brokers- Perform data quality reviews, audits, and control procedures- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and mitigate operational risk- Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues- Participate in and lead strategic and regulatory projects- Train, mentor, and support junior analysts**Required Skills & Experience:**- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field- 35 years of experience in Investment Operations, Reference Data, Fund Operations, or Asset Management- Strong understanding of account structures and trade lifecycle- Experience with data quality management, static data maintenance, and operational controls- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentIn addition to the above, preferred knowledge includes experience in Investment Management / Asset Management operations, OneTIS, Global Max, Settlements Blotter, project management, process improvement initiatives, client service, and operational risk management.
