Senior Java Full Stack Developer with AWS

Job Description

As a Java Full Stack Developer at Broadridge, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable backend services, intuitive front-end applications, and deploying solutions in a cloud and containerized environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.- Working extensively with PostgreSQL for database design, complex queries, indexing, optimization, and performance tuning.- Developing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, etc.).- Containerizing applications using Docker and managing cluster deployments using Kubernetes.- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and collaborating closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases.- Troubleshooting production issues, performing rootcause analysis, and implementing long-term fixes.- Participating in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architecture discussions.- Ensuring code quality, security best practices, and high performance in all deliverables.Your qualifications for this role include:- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.- Solid experience in PostgreSQL, including schemas, stored procedures, and performance tuning.- Expertise in AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.- Proficiency with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools, and DevOps workflows.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and Agile environment.At Broadridge, we are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment where associates are empowered to be authentic and bring their best to work.
