Role Overview:At Amgen, as part of the Transformative Digital Capabilities (TDC) team, you will drive Process Development (PD) and Operations digital transformation by innovating digital solutions that cater to both present and future needs. Your role will involve empowering Process Development staff to leverage chemistry, biology, engineering, and computing through innovative digital capabilities like Data Products, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, Product Management, and Organizational Change Management.Key Responsibilities:- Lead a new group within Amgen India (AIN) focusing on people leadership, product ownership, client success, data science, ontology, knowledge graph expertise, in silico modeling, and AI engineering.- Provide people leadership by coaching, managing performance, participating in hiring decisions, prioritizing workloads, fostering team health, and developing talent.- Collaborate cross-functionally to guide data scientists, AI engineers, ontology specialists, product owners, business partners, and stakeholders in making delivery decisions, managing dependencies, and addressing tradeoffs.- Define product vision, roadmap, backlog, prioritize releases, manage stakeholder expectations, gather feedback, strategize adoption, and ensure measurable client outcomes.- Implement ontology and knowledge graph by defining controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, semantic models, entity relationships, graph data models, entity resolution approaches, and semantic query patterns.- Apply data science and data engineering principles to solve complex problems through machine learning, in silico modeling, data modeling, data quality, metadata, data lineage, and data pipelines.- Develop, integrate, evaluate, and operationalize AI/ML capabilities including retrieval-augmented generation, context engineering, agents/workflows, evaluations, guardrails, and human-centric designs.- Bridge the gap between subject-matter experts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure the product addresses real problems with agility.- Demonstrate learning agility and technical expertise in AI, semantic technologies, and product practices to prototype, review designs, challenge assumptions, and support teams.- Manage priorities and tradeoffs effectively by balancing client needs, technical debt, delivery capacity, risk, speed, and long-term scalability of products.Qualifications Required:- Strong background in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Product Management, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, ontology, and Knowledge Graph.- Experience in leading teams, defining product strategies, client success, ontology implementation, data science, AI engineering, and strategic problem-solving.- Proven ability to translate complex scientific and business needs into scalable solutions while collaborating cross-functionally and demonstrating technical credibility.- Familiarity with Scaled Agile practices and a track record of driving digital transformation in the intersection of science/engineering, data, modeling, and artificial intelligence.(Note: For more opportunities like this, register on the portal and explore further roles based on your assessments.
