Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Senior Manager at PwC in the Assurance department, your main focus will be on providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability with stakeholders. You will be responsible for evaluating compliance with regulations, including assessing governance, risk management processes, and related controls.Key Responsibilities:- Possess sound technical knowledge of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS, and working knowledge of US GAAP.- Actively manage multiple small and/or medium-sized engagements simultaneously or a large multi-location engagement, involving an average of 3 or more staff.- Contribute to quality and timely reviews, guiding junior team members as needed.- Negotiate billing schedules and raise invoices accordingly.- Define the scope of engagements to maintain a balance between risk, effort, cost, and expected value add to the client.- Apply rigorous financial controls and focus on successful completion of agreed deliverables while maintaining quality and risk management priorities.Qualifications Required:- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 8 years of relevant experience post qualification.- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Audit Framework, sampling guidance, working paper requirements, and overall quality requirements.- Stay updated on recent amendments, regulatory requirements, ind AS, RBI regulations, IFCFR, SOX, ERP systems, and technical, industry, and business issues.- Knowledge of risk management, protection of intellectual assets, firm policies and procedures.- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.- Ability to lead projects, foresee pain areas, discuss with senior management, and contribute to sales.- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Additional Company Details:At PwC, you will be part of a purpose-led and values-driven work environment powered by technology.
