Senior Operations Manager - Ecommerce Warehouse (CORE TEAM)

Job Description

As a Senior Operations Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our e-commerce warehouse operations from the ground up. This is a high-ownership position that requires you to take charge of end-to-end fulfilment operations, including order processing, picking & packing, dispatch, returns, and reverse logistics. Your responsibilities will also involve establishing efficient systems, processes, and teams to ensure the smooth running of our warehouse.Key Responsibilities:- **End-to-End Warehouse Ownership** - Own complete warehouse operations, including order processing, picking & packing, dispatch, and returns & reverse logistics. - Ensure accuracy, speed, and process discipline throughout all operations. - **Setup & Process Building** - Build warehouse systems and workflows from scratch. - Define and implement SOPs, QC processes, packing standards, and dispatch timelines. - **Inventory Management** - Maintain accurate inventory across all SKUs and locations. - Implement systems for stock tracking, bin management, and audits & reconciliation. - **Team Building & Management** - Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff. - Allocate tasks, monitor productivity, and build a strong, accountable operations team. - **Logistics & Courier Coordination** - Manage courier partners, aggregators, and pickup schedules. - Ensure timely dispatch and delivery performance and handle escalations for delays and issues. - **Returns, RTO & Claims** - Handle returns, exchanges, reverse logistics, and claims with courier partners and marketplaces. - Minimize RTO and operational losses. - **Order Tracking & Issue Resolution** - Track orders from processing to delivery. - Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure smooth coordination between teams. - **Reporting & Performance Monitoring** - Track and report operational performance metrics. - Use data to improve efficiency and scale warehouse operations.Skills & Requirements:- 5 years experience in e-commerce warehouse/fulfilment operations.- Proven experience in setting up or scaling warehouse operations.- Strong understanding of order processing workflows, inventory systems, and logistics.- Experience managing teams and high-volume operations.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ideal Candidate:- Builder mindset with the ability to create systems from scratch.- Highly disciplined, process-driven, and execution-focused.- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.- Takes full ownership with no dependency or excuses.- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.This role offers you the opportunity to be a core team member with high ownership and impact, work closely with founders and leadership, and be part of a high-growth environment.
