Senior Operations Manager - Warehouse

Job Description

You will be joining Zippee as a Senior Operations Manager - Warehouse, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-growth quick commerce startup. In this role, you will be part of the Operations team and be responsible for planning and executing key operational projects across warehouses and fulfillment centers nationwide. The environment is high-pressure and unstructured, requiring a proactive and hands-on approach to drive the mission forward. You must be based in the NCR or Gurgaon area as this is an in-person role at the Gurgaon HQ with remote work on Saturdays.**Responsibilities:**- Plan and implement operational projects across warehouses and fulfillment centers, including last-mile delivery pilots and central process rollouts.- Design optimized warehouse layouts and zoning strategies to enhance efficiency based on SKU velocity and demand patterns.- Develop and enhance SOPs for various warehouse functions to improve productivity and reduce order processing time.- Lead the setup and expansion of new warehouses and micro-fulfillment centers, coordinating with vendors and ensuring timely go-live.- Forecast workforce requirements and develop staffing models based on order volumes, SKU mix, and peak demand.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain from a reputable institution; MBA is highly preferred.- 6-10 years of experience in operations, program management, or supply chain, with a focus on process design, SLA adherence, and managing supply chain costs.- Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel/Sheets and BI dashboards; capable of independently managing teams and stakeholders.- Strong ownership mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with a willingness to travel for on-ground project execution.- Bonus: Experience in early-stage Program or Operations roles in quick commerce, ecommerce logistics, or courier companies.At Zippee, you will be part of a dynamic team passionate about revolutionizing quick commerce logistics for consumer brands.
