Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Senior People Ops Manager focusing on Product Optimization, you will play a crucial role in driving scale, quality, and efficiency through Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean, and Six Sigma practices. Your responsibilities will include orchestrating CI programs, ensuring disciplined intake, prioritization, execution governance, and measurable value delivery. Your primary focus will be on process excellence and CI program management, converting operational problems into improvement initiatives and tracking them through execution to ensure benefits realization.Key Responsibilities:- Own and operate the CI intake model, assessing ideas using Lean and Six Sigma principles- Translate intake requests into well-formed CI charters with defined scope, problem statements, metrics, target state, benefits, risks, and dependencies- Manage the CI delivery cadence, ensuring initiatives progress predictably from intake through implementation- Apply Lean methodologies to diagnose and improve processes, and Six Sigma techniques to address defects and quality issues- Own and maintain the ADO backlog, ensuring proper scoping, prioritization, tracking, and documentation of CI work items- Provide visibility into CI program reporting, highlighting systemic bottlenecks and improvement themes- Partner with various teams to keep CI initiatives unblocked and influence outcomes through data and CI rigorQualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources (HR), Business, or related field AND 11 years experience in process improvement or related roles- OR Masters Degree in HR, Business, Operations, or related field AND 7 years experience in process improvement or related roles- Proven ability to manage CI intake, charters, backlogs, dependencies, and delivery cadence- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into structured improvement initiativesAdditional Company Details (if present):Microsofts mission is to empower every person and organization to achieve more.
