Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Engineering Analyst at Google, you will be part of the Trust & Safety team tasked with identifying and solving complex problems related to abuse and fraud on Google products. Your role will involve investigating fraud and abuse incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a safe and secure payments ecosystem for users.Key Responsibilities:- Investigate fraud and abuse incidents, identify patterns and trends, and generate holistic risk management solutions.- Manage and mitigate payment fraud, scams, and abuse on Google products and services to promote user trust and safety.- Perform statistical analysis using payments and risk data warehouses.- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to enhance tools, improve system functionality, and drive automation opportunities.- Facilitate and manage operations programs, track project schedules and timelines, and respond to escalations from internal and external parties.- Conduct end-to-end assessment of the associated risk and vulnerability of products and features.- Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.- 2 years of experience in data analysis, project management, and working with languages such as SQL, R, Python, or C.- Masters degree in a quantitative discipline preferred.- Experience in the payments industry, statistical analysis, machine learning libraries, and programming languages is a plus.- Ability to optimize processes, interact with stakeholders, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.(Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.)
