Software Test Analyst

Job Description

As a Software Test Analyst, Senior at FIS, you will be at the forefront of developing fintech products that are revolutionizing the global payment, banking, and investment landscape. Your role will involve enhancing testing processes, leading testing engagements, collaborating with project and delivery managers to meet testing deadlines, managing stakeholders, driving automation testing enhancements, mentoring junior team members, and executing functional and automated testing on end-to-end payment systems. You will also be responsible for communicating testing activities effectively, managing daily test activities, organizing the test script library, and raising detailed defects in Jira. Additionally, you will work with various stakeholders to resolve issues and push defects to a closed state.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in improving testing processes- Lead testing engagements and manage a small team of QAs- Ensure testing deliverables are completed within specified timeframes- Manage internal and external stakeholders- Drive defect triage meetings- Mentor junior team members- Enhance automation testing- Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual and automated test scripts- Conduct functional and automated testing on payment systems- Communicate testing activities and findings clearly- Manage daily test activities- Organize and maintain the test script library- Raise detailed defects in Jira- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issuesQualifications Required:- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/software testing- Minimum 7 years of automated testing experience for UI and API test cases- Proficiency in multiple API and UI automation tools- Hands-on automation test development experience with scripting languages- Experience with source control tools and test management tools- Ability to provide testing estimates- Experience using CI tools for automation builds- Experience managing QA teams- Ability to debug automated test casesNice to have:- Experience managing manual and automated test cases with Zephyr Scale- Knowledge of ISO20022 and SWIFT MT/MS messaging- Experience testing payment systems including real-time, bulk, and RTGS schemesIn addition to the challenging and rewarding role, FIS offers a competitive salary, a variety of career development tools, and opportunities for professional growth.
