System analyst - SPM and integrated applications

Job Description

Role Overview:You will be responsible for requirements elicitation, understanding, analysis, and management. This includes contributing to the creation of supplemental requirements, building low-level technical specifications, project planning, tracking, and reporting. You will also participate in project review meetings, tracking progress, and ensuring quality and schedules are met. Additionally, you will be involved in design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and process management.Key Responsibilities:- Estimate tasks and resources required for designing, creating, and testing code for assigned modules- Create detailed (LLD) design for assigned pieces with possible alternate solutions- Build high-priority and complex systems code according to functional specifications and maintainability standards- Attend test design walkthroughs and assist with project- and code-level problem-solving- Review technical documentation for code accuracy, completeness, and usability- Adhere to project and support processes, best practices, and approved policies and procedures- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Administrator on enterprise project portfolio management systems and interfaces- Document technical systems and interfaces support procedures and workflows- Facilitate the identification and documentation of business requirements and related test cases- Collaborate with business and IT areas in planning and conducting the analysis of business problemsQualifications:- Extensive knowledge of Agile values, principles, and mindset with at least 5 years of experience in Agile and non-Agile software development- Strong technical acumen, system thinking, and focus on providing superior customer satisfaction- Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy- Effective requirement elicitation, analysis, and technical troubleshooting skills- Proficiency in process mapping, value stream mapping, and all Microsoft Office applications- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills- Experience working on cross-functional process improvement projectsCompany Details:Guardian has been serving approximately 29 million people for 160 years with insurance and financial products.
