Job Description

As a Technical Lead I-Front End at Johnson Controls, your role will involve focusing on new feature/component development, maintenance, and stewardship of existing system software. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions meeting defined system requirements. Your responsibilities will include:- Planning and implementing work utilizing standard engineering and technology principles- Providing work estimates, controlling development work, and meeting project/system quality, reliability, and performance objectives- Analyzing the impact of changes on existing information products/systems and proposing solutions to minimize project/system risk- Resolving problems, providing technical assistance, and leading development team members- Participating in knowledge/technology transfer initiatives and preparing/reviewing product documentation- Performing unit testing of all implementation changes and integration testing as appropriate- Providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problemsQualifications required for this role include:- BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA in Computer Science- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of software development experience on web-based applications- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills- Experience in writing development-level documentation and knowledge of refactoring techniques- Experience with code management, change tracking, and team collaboration tools like GitHub, JIRA, etc.- Expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, ASP.net MVC, ASP.net WebAPI (RestFul), SQL Server, LINQ, .Net Core, and Unit Testing Frameworks and ConceptsPreferred qualifications include familiarity with Object-Oriented web development and Design Patterns, as well as some experience in writing detailed designs.At Johnson Controls, we offer an exciting and challenging position within a leading global multi-industrial corporation.
