Job Description

As the Technical Lead of Software Development, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the software function in the planning, organizing, developing, releasing, and maintaining of software applications and systems based on business needs. You will manage a small team, create technical strategies, and align the team with broader department and R&D best practices. Additionally, you will drive AI adoption within the team and ensure the organization is prepared to deliver AI-enabled capabilities by applying AI-assisted development practices.**Key Responsibilities:**- **6070% technical, in-code, hands-on development work**- **3040% functional, people and project management, architecture work**- **Analyzing complex business needs and recommending technical solutions**- **Directing operations to meet or exceed customer expectations**- **Prioritizing workload for the software development team**- **Enforcing and evolving software development standards and best practices**- **Collaborating with other developers to design, build, and maintain applications**- **Writing clean, testable code and developing technical specifications**- **Estimating development tasks and reviewing/refactoring code**- **Conducting interviews and making recommendations for new hires**- **Coaching, mentoring, training, and managing the performance of junior staff**- **Implementing AI-assisted delivery, AI feature implementation, quality & reliability, security & operations, and team adoption****Qualifications Required:**- **Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience**- **At least 8 years of professional experience in web-based software solutions**- **Minimum of 1 year of team/technical leadership experience**- **Experience with Agile (Scrum) Software Development Process**- **Technical capabilities in NodeJS, ExpressJS, Angular, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript**- **Hands-on experience using testing frameworks**- **Strong analytical skills and experience with AI-assisted development tools**- **Experience with database management, source control, and branching/merging best practices**- **Leadership, communication, and analytical skills**If you are interested in this role, you will be working Monday through Friday from 12PM to 9PM IST, with at least 2 days work from the office at Hyderabad.
