Training Operations Manager

Job Description

As a Training Operations Manager at Safran Aircraft Engines, your primary purpose is to define and oversee the day-to-day execution of internal training programs to ensure operational excellence, effectiveness, and alignment with corporate learning objectives.Key Responsibilities:- Manage Training Logistics & Delivery: You will be responsible for organizing, scheduling, and coordinating all training activities to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.- Resource Management: Supervise instructors, facilitators, and the training support team while monitoring training resources and budgets.- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high standards for training sessions, materials, trainer performance, and training records.- Monitoring & Reporting: Track training participation, completion rates, and feedback to analyze data for identifying improvements and preventive actions.- Continuous Improvement: Utilize participant feedback and performance metrics to optimize program content and delivery.- Mentoring: Coach and mentor the training operations team to develop their skills and foster best practices.Qualifications Required:1. Technical Knowledge:- Good understanding of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.- Familiarity with aviation regulations such as DGCA, EASA, and FAA.- Knowledge of MRO tools, equipment, and parts.2. Leadership and Team Management:- Strong leadership and people management skills.- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop instructors and trainees.- Experience in managing cross-functional teams.3. Communication Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to present complex technical content in an understandable way.- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.4. Organizational and Planning Skills:- Proven experience in managing multiple projects or training sessions simultaneously.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.- Capability to prioritize and adapt to evolving operational needs.5. Quality & Compliance:- Commitment to maintaining training standards and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.- Able to present training activity during audits and answer auditors questions.6. Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking:- Ability to identify process gaps and propose effective solutions.- Analytical mindset for assessing training efficacy and operational needs.7. Digital & IT Skills:- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training technologies.- Familiarity with reporting tools and digital platforms used in MRO environments.- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
