Job Description

    As a Warehouse Operations Shift Incharge, your role will involve the following key responsibilities:- Monitoring vehicle unloading times and ensuring adherence to unloading Turnaround Time (TAT)- Maintaining the Receiving to Binning Ratio as per the set targets- Defining effective storage and picking strategies- Executing picking operations in alignment with customer orders- Conducting perpetual and annual inventory checks, reporting variances, and implementing countermeasures to reduce discrepancies- Overseeing domestic and export customer dispatches to ensure quality delivery- Managing the Order to Dispatch Ratio efficiently- Ensuring safety protocols, 5S standards, and procuring & maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the warehouse- Securing necessary approvals for business operations such as procuring MHE and managing service contracts like Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC)In addition to Warehouse Operations, you will also be responsible for the following cross-functional activities:- Aligning warehouse inventory with sales targets in terms of Inventory Value & Customer Monthly Targets (CMT)- Collaborating with the sales team to ensure proper distribution of sales loads- Engaging in discussions, meetings, and reviews with vendors, service providers, and transporters for operational efficiencyFurthermore, your role will involve handling audits and compliances:- Assessing manpower, vendors, and transporters services for contract renewals- Conducting ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 audits, both internal and externalLastly, you will be accountable for management reporting:- Conducting monthly sectional and departmental reviews- Providing daily Management Information System (MIS) reports to departmental, divisional, and vertical headsPlease note that the preferred qualifications for this role include a Diploma or Graduate degree with 5-11 years of experience (up to 8 years preferred) for non-BTech candidates and 2-4 years of experience for BTech candidates. Applicants must have graduated from UGC/AICTE approved institutes.
