Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greetings from Larsen & Toubro Infotech!We are hiring forInfra Monitoring Support.Exp : 1- 4YearsLocation : - Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, BangaloreNotice period - Immediate to 30 DaysPrimary Skills required: We are looking for candidates who should have at least L1 or L1.5 skills of Windows Server , Active Directory, Monitoring, VMware, Backup and Network.
    • Application and Infrastructure monitoring:
      • Manage the monitoring environment, ensuring all systems and applications are configured for proper event and capacity management visibility
      • Provides governance, functional goal definitions, and critical success factors for the major ITIL processes focusing on Continual Service Improvement (CSI)
      • Oversee a wide variety of infrastructure and Applications including but not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems, and core applications
      • Compile and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends in hardware and application performance to assist senior technical staff in predicting future problems or outages
    • Incident / Problem Management:
      • Perform technical analysis, document, and drive restoration of service for major incident events
      • Be accountable for the efficient and effective execution of the major incident management process
      • Coordinate and participate in major incident events as required
      • Track and document all defects and resolutions in detail through a designated ticketing system
      • Participates in training, guides, and advises associates on the major incident management process
      • During a major incident, actively document a detailed timeline including key milestones
      • Play key role in a team of 8-10 Command Center resources offshore and locally
    • Communications:
      • Ensure that appropriate and timely global communications are sent to senior management, the business, and clients keeping them advised of incidents and customer impact
      • Develop and maintain reporting, metrics, and analysis for IT
      • Participate in meetings with staff and executives to discuss problem management items including post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
      • Contact point for customers, partners and internal teams regarding service impacting issues, outages, and solution status
      • Report incidents. Escalating complicated issues to management, other IT resources, third parties and/or vendors, as appropriate
      • Some experience in process documentation and preparing reports with complex technical data for users who are not subject matter experts
      • You need to be able to work with large volumes of data and isolate essential relevant information for best decision making
    Must Have:
    • Minimum 2-year experience in a technology support or operations role
    • An analytical thinker, good communicator and able to work well in a team environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Effective time management skills will be required
    • Excellent written, oral communication and analytical skills
    • Strong ability to identify patterns and anomalies in vast quantities of data
    • ITIL Foundations v3+ certification or ITIL Knowledge
    • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation within the Command Center team of 3-5, including answering critical phone calls and organizing major incident bridge calls with multiple IT Teams 24x7 while on-call
    • Experience with developing and maintaining technical and procedural documentation including KPIs, workflows, and diagrams
