Job Responsibilities:
Drive a core team of cross- functional members involved in engaging and supporting the customer, driving wins with the OEM s customers and achieve revenue capture
Alongside Sales, be a primary contact point in customer engagements, evangelizing new company technologies/products
Drive and manage all pre- RFP efforts and deliverables, including product and marketing collateral, technical summits, and drive Proof- of- Concept demo s
Contribute to the setting of account strategy, the resulting tactical milestones, and leading the team to achieve them.
Support sales strategy planning and customer engagements on sell- through plans and special deals toward revenue recognition
Understand the customer s business goals and requirements; Foster relationships and manage customer expectations to ensure needs are aligned with AMD business goals
Be a strong advocate for the customer internally
Understand customer h/w and s/w requirements, configurations, applications and architect solutions accordingly
Maintain awareness of, and provide reports on, customer status and key issues
Drive for highest levels of customer engagement and satisfaction
Implement a business review process, drive budget reviews, implement an account planning process
Engage the channel partners and deliver Sales and Pre- Sales training
Drive a marketing budget with the OEM customer and ensure best ROI utilization
Job Requirements:
8+ years of experience in the computing industry, at the OEM or technology provider level
5+ years of experience in a customer- facing role
Knowledge of modern server platform architecture
Outstanding written, oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to multi- task and handle multiple simultaneous projects
Highly results driven
BS, or higher, in Engineering (Computer or Electrical) or Business strongly preferred
