Job Description

    As a Digital Content Strategist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team of digital marketing professionals in the APJ Digital Marketing Operations COE. Your role will involve driving strategies and execution for the brand, focusing on enhancing Thermo Fishers visibility in emerging AI-powered search platforms such as Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and voice assistants. By collaborating with global and local teams, you will play a crucial role in optimizing regional and local content for answer engines and generative search platforms to ensure a structured and discoverable digital experience for customers.Key Responsibilities:- Strategy Development: Recommend and implement AEO and GEO strategies to enhance brand visibility and generate demand.- Audit & Optimization: Review existing SEO implementations, audit backlinks, and remove toxic links. Initiate pilots with local marketers to improve current content or co-create FAQ-driven, AI-friendly content.- Performance Analysis: Conduct comparative analysis of historical and current data to showcase the impact of implemented strategies.- Set Standards: Advise on best practices for URL taxonomy and collaborate with the Web Operations team to establish guardrails for regional content.- Competitor Benchmarking: Utilize tools to benchmark Thermo Fisher against competitors and monitor their rankings.- Trend Monitoring: Identify and leverage emerging trends in AEO, GEO, and conversational AI for maintaining a competitive advantage.Requirements/Qualifications:- Proven track record in implementing SEO strategies with measurable results.- Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO, AEO, or GEO.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, or related field.- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.- Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools.- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., AEM).- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) evaluation metrics.- Ability to collaborate with analysts to articulate requirements for reporting and analysis.- Knowledge of A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and UX principles.Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and flexibility to embrace changes and new challenges.
