Role Overview:As the Data Visualization Lead at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), you will be a key member of the Analytics Capabilities and Practices Team. Your primary focus will be on building sophisticated analytical capabilities, including data science, predictive modeling, dashboarding, and data stewardship. Working within the Data Visualization team under Operations Performance Enablement, you will collaborate with partners and operations from various functions to deliver data maintenance and dashboard development/reporting requirements. Your role will also involve staying ahead of analytics trends and emerging tools to ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary skills to support D&A Customer Operations effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Interact with clients and client-facing teams to gather feedback and utilize it to enhance data visualization.- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures, and load data into different database systems like MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.- Understand data management methodologies and concepts.- Develop and enhance skills through mentoring and collaboration with experienced professionals.- Handle large volumes of data and manage data complexity effectively.- Translate end user needs into requirements, preferably using design thinking methodologies.- Lead projects, overcome obstacles, and find creative solutions.- Engage partners at all levels to identify problems, use cases, and translate the business impact of projects.- Build expertise in specific domains and tools/techniques.- Establish relationships with peers in analytics across the company.- Develop domain expertise in financial market content and Refinitiv data and products.Qualifications Required:- Strong leadership skills.- Proficiency in Tableau; Power BI skills are a plus.- Solid Data Visualization skills with Tableau (optional) and Power BI (preferred).- Effective stakeholder management and project management abilities.- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.- Technical skills and relational database expertise.- Ability to work with large datasets without getting overwhelmed.- Tell compelling stories through data analysis and visualization.- Strong algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills.- At least 3 years of experience in data visualization and a minimum of 2 years using Power BI.- Proficiency in Excel and SQL; programming background is a bonus.Additional Company Details (if present):London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a prominent global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, dedicated to driving financial stability, empowering economies, and fostering sustainable growth.
