Job Description

    As a Trade Compliance Classification Analyst at Lenovo, your role will involve developing and improving internal processes for classifying Lenovos products for hardware, software, and technology. You will be responsible for assigning export control classification numbers (ECCNs) to various items and supporting global shipping transactions. Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to enhancing work efficiency related to classifications and departmental projects. Additionally, you will assist in audits/assessments for ECCN classifications and prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and improve internal processes for classifying Lenovos products- Assign ECCNs to software, technology, integrated circuits, electronic assemblies, and computer systems- Support global shipping transactions and dispositions- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance work efficiency- Assist in audits/assessments for ECCN classifications and prepare audit reports with recommendationsQualifications Required:- Bachelors or advanced degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience)- Familiarity with advanced level of classification concepts such as ECCNs, EAR, Licensing Jurisdiction Determination, Export Licenses, and Wassenaar- 5 years of experience in export classification in the high-tech industry- Understanding of U.S. EAR and other export control regulation jurisdictions- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP/GTS- Open to challenges, new ideas/change, and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills- Effective written and oral communication with attention to detailIn compliance with Colorados EPEWA, the expected application deadline for this position is December 2, 2025.
