Job Description

As a Java Microservices AWS Developer at Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot in Java, handling API transactions, and managing the data layer for micro apps. Your role will involve effective coordination with vendors, technicians, clients, and management to ensure robust performance and resource management. Depending on the organizations maturity, you may also integrate systems or operate in a DevOps model.Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with business units, application teams, infrastructure areas, and vendors to identify, review, and evaluate solution requirements- Investigate and propose strategic fits for virtualization, consolidation, and rationalization solution opportunities within the infrastructure or business- Propose changes to technical design solutions as applicable- Evaluate and align strategic fit solutions across platforms and solutions specific to system hardware and software technologies- Understand, participate, review, and influence long-term capacity planning and technology investmentsQualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Technology-related field, OR equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience, OR 2 years of technology experience- 4 years of experience identifying technical solutions for complex business problems, benefits, and risks of solutions, and providing recommendations- 4 years of Technology experience- Good experience in Core Java, SpringBoot, MicroServices, REST API, and AWS- AWS infrastructure experience requiredAdditional Details:Capco has a tolerant, open culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and creativity.
