Job Description

As a Software Quality Engineer-2 at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, you will be part of the Software Quality Engineering team responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our next-generation software. Your role will involve conducting a variety of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that the software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. You will debug software products, develop test plans, document system tests, analyze results, provide feedback to developers, and ensure all issues are resolved. Additionally, you will select testing specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures align with industry standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- Contribute to test automation activities by coding and programming in current languages- Develop and re-evaluate test methodologies and processes- Provide requirements and specifications for automating test cases- Ensure timely delivery of subsystem, proactively addressing any issues- Author and execute test cases and testing methodology for manual and automated tests**Qualifications Required:**- Deep understanding of File Systems and File Protocols (CIFS/NFS) with experience in Storage (NAS) Testing for functional and Systemic Testing- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and lifecycle- Strong coding abilities in Python and experience with automation development processes and tools- Proficient in different Linux operating systems- Experience working in Agile Development model**Desirable Qualifications:**- Familiarity with scripting languages- 2-3 years of related experienceAs part of Dell Technologies, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and grow your career alongside some of the industrys best minds and cutting-edge technology.
