Job Description

Job Purpose
    • Running and monitoring chemical reactions , Work up, isolation and characterization of products.
    • Candidates will also participate in common lab activities such as maintaining chemical inventory, taking care of lab equipment s/instruments.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • The candidate must have expertise in handling air and moisture sensitive reactions after taking care of all safety measures in the laboratory.
    • Candidate should have working knowledge of Microsoft office, Chemdraw and should be able to prepare and present his/her work to the management.
    • Familiarity with search tools such us reaxys, scifinder to find out alternate reactions conditions or synthetic strategies is desirable.
    • Candidates needs to work closely with other support departments such as Analytical team, supply chain etc. and maintain a highly professional and collaborative environment.
    • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices- Technical Responsibilities.
    • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety Responsibilities.
    • Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company Responsibilities.
    Educational Qualification:
    • Msc Organic Chemistry
    Technical/Functional Skills:
    • Ability to interpret analytical data (eg. 1H NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, IR etc.)
    Experience:
    • 0 to 4 Years
    Behavioural Skills:
    • Good Team Player
