Job Description

Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.You will be part of the Charging business line of Business Applications that focuses on how CSPs and enterprises can unlock the value of their network investments through flexible, cloud-native monetization tools. You will be a part of the Services and Care team which is delivering and maintaining Business Line portfolio to secure Nokia as the market leader in the Charging subsegment of Digital Business Support Systems (BSS) with specialty in 5G Charging and Converged Charging towards CSP and 5G Slice Charging targeting enterprise markets.We are looking for an experienced Product or Business Manager with a track record of successfully
    • creating and launching products and services,
    • customer focused
    • negotiating software services agreements with a statement of work, and technology savvy.
    Creative and highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, easily adaptable to new processes and new ways of working in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and the Nokia Software business.The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing services to market linked to the product portfolio, that solve network operations software support issues and create new sources of revenue for Nokia Software Apps. In this role, you will drive the software support product strategy, vision and roadmap with an end-to-end ownership of the services offers and customer experience that supports the companys overall strategy and goals.(Job grade: 10) Key Responsibilities & Competencies:
    • Understanding the Nokia Software Services and Care product lines and the service components along with their impact on our customers and market as a whole
    • Define, develop and deliver new industrialized product attached supports services and subscription services that support organization s overall strategy and goals as part of the CREATE process.
    • Build relationships and identify stakeholders across the organization as it relates to the BL portfolio of products and service offers
    • Assess the needs, opportunities and customer pain points, and develop business cases, strategies and roadmap
    • Develop value propositions, positioning and messaging for your service offers/products
    • Developing business cases will require in-depth financial analysis, projected returns on investment scenario modeling, pricing and pricing strategies, etc.
    • Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver your approved service offers/products. Typical engagement involves teams from finance, engineering, operations, GBC Pre-Sales, Care Sales, AS&C Market Services, Marketing and third-party partners/alliances.
    • Demonstrate strong product management discipline, adherence to defined processes and continuously looking for opportunities to introduce efficiencies.
    • Create Additional Monetizing capabilities for Services & Care costing with new offerings
    • Optimize Services & Care Costing framework with delivery excellence and efficiency across Business Lines
    • Support Delivery Framework beyond Telcos like IoT/Enterprise Customers
    • Have great understanding on CNS BA Costing framework (like ngSEET)
    • Serviceability/Maintainability improvements for cost of deployment, cost of support and cost of network operations
    • Financial outcomes- S&C Revenues, Sales Margin improvement, Operating Profit achievement, CARE Renewals and Business top line growth
    • Operational leading KPIs- Improve Customer Satisfaction, Customer Satisfaction (CPVi), Initiatives towards more work transition from LDO, and Governance on key S&C operational metrics targets
    Qualifications and requirements: Required Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required, Candidates with Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science will be more relevant, Master s is a plus
    • Must have 10 years of Product Management or Business Management experience
    • Must have experience with one of the following disciplines: contract negotiations, contract management, supplier management, software technologies; cloud or XaaS products experience
    • Must be fluent in product management discipline
    • Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to build great relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across the organization
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Must have a Master s degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science.
    • Must have 15 years of Product Management and/or Business Management experience
    • Must have experience with one of the following disciplines: contract negotiations, contract management, supplier management, software technologies; cloud or XaaS products experience
    • Must be fluent in product management discipline with a focus in software support
    • Experience in developing an end to end hardware & software support strategy with multi-million euro Care customers.
    • Experience managing a worldwide business including products and services type businesses.
    • Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to build great relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across the organization
    • Excellent understanding of the industry landscape, including customers, potential partners, the needs and concerns of Nokia Software s customers.
    • Experience and demonstrated ability in identifying changing business models, and ability to associate these to changing solution/product and architecture requirement.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across many teams within the organization including sales, business development/technical sales, product management, marketing, services & support, R&D, documentation, manufacturing, operations, program and release management.
    • Solid technical and operational understanding of service provider networking environments.
    • Ability and flexibility to develop and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences and to define and participate in product demonstrations during conferences, trade shows.
    • Strong consulting skills to work with both external and internal customers and suppliers, sometimes for understanding and sometimes for driving product and network architectures, features, constraints, and limits.
    • Proficiency in conflict management and negotiation, with abilities to influence and lead others.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills; autonomy and ability to manage competing demands
    • High energy; willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Ability to work in both high-level, strategic context and pragmatic execution of specific projects with practical constraints on network functional requirements and schedules and product or feature constraints.
    • Ability to forge trusted relationships using an open and respectful communication and collaboration style.
