Job Description

    • Responsible for cross-site technological software development activities
    • Lead an organization of 50+ people, ensuring their motiviation and development by managing their managers
    • Provide content, time and financial planning of projects and resources in coordination with the project manager
    • Coordinate the development as well as documentation of software and system solutions within the scope of projects, considering current trends and customer requirements
    • Develop R&D tools and activities in line with future technology requirements and trends
    • Support and collaborate with digital organization leaders to enable high quality and timely product creation
    • Support the production and introduction of new products, establishinging a cost-effective production process
    • Support software development projects according to Scrum
    OUR EXPECTATIONS
    • You have a technical or scientific degree alongside numerous years experience in software development, project work as well as people management
    • You have solid knowledge in programming, system analysis and system design
    • You possess a good understanding of life science applications (no microscopy background needed)
    • You have the ability to lead and motivate your team
    • You are customer orientated, possess good communication skills and a good understanding of business contexts
    • You are fluent in English with a good understanding of German
